Role Overview
IPPF Americas and Caribbean Regional Office (ACRO) and the IPPF Global Humanitarian Team are seeking a consultant to support the humanitarian portfolio in ACRO including:

1. Technical assistance on delivering lifesaving sexual and reproductive health service delivery for a project supporting Venezuelan migrants in Colombia
2. Capitalising and support dissemination of lessons learnt of GAC project to regional MAs, including on program design, emergency preparedness and response. 

Role Objectives 
The Consultant will provide technical assistance to a Global Affairs Canada funded project implemented by the IPPF MA in Colombia (Profamilia) to deliver sexual and reproductive health services including clinical and psychosocial support for survivors of SGBV to Venezuelan migrants and host communities. Additional responsibilities will involve capacity building of MAs in the region on emergency preparedness and response including creating opportunities for sharing and learning from the Colombia project. The Consultant will work closely with the ACRO and Global Humanitarian Team colleagues to complete deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Profamilia Project Support for Venezuelan Migration Crisis:

-    Provide technical support to Profamilia Colombia on the implementation of SRHR including SGBV program targeting people affected by the Venezuelan migration crisis in Norte de Santander, Cauca, Nariño, Chocó and Urabá. 
-    Identify opportunities for sharing and learning for all MAs supporting Venezuelan and other migrants in the region to support best practice adoption and continuity of care
-    Support the MA’s humanitarian response capacity, including for example: context analysis, evaluations, Preparedness and Response Plans, surge capacity etc.

• Capacity Building:

-    Conduct orientations, trainings, share guidelines and provide technical assistance as required
-    Organize horizontal learning activities (e.g. webinars, panels etc) for MAs to share and learn about preparedness and response

Key Deliverables  
Profamilia Project Support for Venezuelan Migration Crisis:
-    Conduct at least one TA trip to program to provide technical assistance/training with completed training and trip reports with recommendations; ongoing TA as needed
-    One learning/sharing events specifically for MAs supporting migrant populations with SRH/SGBV services (can be virtual or in-person) 
-    2 trainings carried out on emergency preparedness and response topics (can be virtual) using IPPF Global Humanitarian Team resources and tools
-    1 learning/sharing event for MAs on emergency preparedness and response-    
Selection Criteria

Qualifications 
•    Public Health or Project Management degree or related qualification

Competencies, Skills, and Experience 
•    5 years experience implementing Humanitarian SRH Responses in emergency settings
•    Demonstrable understanding of the Minimum Initial Service Package of Reproductive Health in Emergency Settings (the MISP) and demonstrated ability to teach it to others

Language Requirements and Proficiency Required 
•    Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish
