Asociación Pro-Bienestar de la Familia Colombiana

Profamilia is a private non-profit organization that, for more than five decades, has been promoting and defending the exercise of sexual and reproductive rights of the population in Colombia so that they can make free, safe and informed decisions about their sexuality, without discrimination, coercion or violence. The association has national coverage offering products, services and education in sexual and reproductive health since 1965, benefiting the population in Colombia, especially the most vulnerable. It has been a member of IPPF since 1967. With more than 50 clinics throughout Colombia, PROFAMILIA is the largest private health organization in the country and the second largest in developing countries. Each year it provides more than 3,000,000 services and serves more than 600,000 people. Through its five strategic lines of action: IPS, Pharma, Educa, Advocacy, Research and Social Projects, Profamilia has positioned itself as a reference in the generation of welfare and social change; in the implementation of international cooperation projects; in the provision of health services in remote populations; in comprehensive sexuality education; among other actions that favor the lives of millions of people. Barbados Family Planning Association (BFPA)

The BFPA also known as the Barbados Family Planning Association is a benevolent organization created to protect, serve, and empower every Barbadian with their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights embedded in a human and Sexual rights approach. The Association carries out its mission in the following ways clinical and medical service; education; national, community and individual intervention programs; strategic advocacy; intense research; provision of data; and most importantly protecting the most vulnerable and marginalised groups in society. It was established by an act of Parliament in 1954 and governed by an elected group of volunteers. The Association is an independent entity and governed by a constitution. The BFPA for transparency and accountability is governed by a Board of Ten (10) Elected Directors (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relation Officer and Five Floor members which consist of two youth members). For further accountability and transparency, several government agencies have ex-officio representatives on the Board these are the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Innovation, and the private sector. The diversity is further reflected through our Board and member with additional ex-officio e.g., LGBTQI Persons, Women’s groups, youth, and other partners. The Association is operationally managed by an Executive Director who is supported by highly technical, skilled, and qualified staff. Through a well-managed and sustainable revitalization process, the BFPA membership and board reflects the diversity that is in Barbados, with the following characteristics:  age, ethnicity, religious preference, disability, sexuality, and socio-economic diversity. The BFPA has one location which is a comprehensive clinical facility and community social service hub. With the reorganisation of the work of the BFPA under the societal impact and sustainability pillars of Medical and Clinical Services, Commodity Distribution, Sexual Rights Advocacy and Intervention Programming, Counselling and Mental Health Support, and lastly the protection of the freedom of all to have Sexual Pleasure in a safe, respectful, and private manner.   Instagram

As a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) advocate, our work is entrenched in a human rights approach which drives our ethos of leaving no-one behind. In addition to the general population, those classified as at-risk, disenfranchised, vulnerable and marginalized individuals form an important part of our programme focus.     One of FPATT’s main strategies is to create and build diverse networks and partnerships. This includes relationships with state agencies, private sector, international organizations, civil society, grassroots organizations, other global, national, and community-based stakeholders. The goal of these relationships is to support, amplify    and advance FPATT’s work particularly among those most in need. VISION: FPATT is a Leader in the Caribbean Region promoting and ensuring sexual & reproductive health and rights for all. MISSION: To ensure that every person living in Trinidad and Tobago acknowledges the right to the healthy expression of their sexuality and that all persons including the most vulnerable are supported in realizing this right. The Peruvian Institute for Responsible Parenthood (INPPARES) is a non-governmental institution that has been working for more than 47 years for a country where all people have control over their own bodies and make their own decisions. We work with a focus on rights, gender and intersectionality. We long for a world where all people are free to decide whether to be mothers, fathers or not; free to decide how many children to have and when to have them; free to pursue a healthy sexual life, without fear of unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV-AIDS.A world where gender and sexuality are no longer a cause of inequality or stigma. We have a youth program called Centro Juvenil Futuro (CJF), which each year trains new youth promoters through capacity building in sexual and reproductive health who are spokespersons for our work. We long for a world where all people are free to decide whether to be mothers, fathers or not; free to decide how many children to have and when to have them; free to pursue a healthy sexual life, without fear of unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV-AIDS.A world where gender and sexuality are no longer a cause of inequality or stigma. We have a youth program called Centro Juvenil Futuro (CJF), which each year trains new youth promoters through capacity building in sexual and reproductive health who are spokespersons for our work. Jamaica Family Planning Association

The Jamaica Family Planning Association (JFPA) has been a pioneer of family planning services in Jamaica since its inception in 1957 and an advocate for the provision of quality sexual and reproductive health services.   In its more than 60 years of service, JFPA has expanded beyond family planning clinical and educational service provision but has remained faithful to its Mission: To contribute to a better quality of life for all Jamaicans by providing the highest quality comprehensive clinical and non-clinical sexual and reproductive health services that address the needs of adolescents, women and men, especially those in underserved rural and urban areas. The Association currently provides the services from its 2 fixed clinics - Beth Jacobs Clinic in St. Ann and Lenworth Jacobs Clinic in Kingston.     The Association serves residents in 5 of Jamaica’s 14 parishes through its clinics and its Youth Advocacy Movement (YAM). In 2019, a total of 6316 services were provided by the Association. The Association is a staunch advocate for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, respect for the human rights of vulnerable populations. Instituto Peruano de Paternidad Responsable - Peru

The Peruvian Institute for Responsible Parenthood (INPPARES) is a non-governmental institution that has been working for more than 47 years for a country where all people have control over their own bodies and make their own decisions. We work with a focus on rights, gender and intersectionality. We long for a world where all people are free to decide whether to be mothers, fathers or not; free to decide how many children to have and when to have them; free to pursue a healthy sexual life, without fear of unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV-AIDS.A world where gender and sexuality are no longer a cause of inequality or stigma. We have a youth program called Centro Juvenil Futuro (CJF), which each year trains new youth promoters through capacity building in sexual and reproductive health who are spokespersons for our work. Jamaica Family Planning Association

The Jamaica Family Planning Association (JFPA) has been a pioneer of family planning services in Jamaica since its inception in 1957 and an advocate for the provision of quality sexual and reproductive health services.   In its more than 60 years of service, JFPA has expanded beyond family planning clinical and educational service provision but has remained faithful to its Mission: To contribute to a better quality of life for all Jamaicans by providing the highest quality comprehensive clinical and non-clinical sexual and reproductive health services that address the needs of adolescents, women and men, especially those in underserved rural and urban areas. The Association currently provides the services from its 2 fixed clinics - Beth Jacobs Clinic in St. Ann and Lenworth Jacobs Clinic in Kingston.     The Association serves residents in 5 of Jamaica’s 14 parishes through its clinics and its Youth Advocacy Movement (YAM). In 2019, a total of 6316 services were provided by the Association. The Association is a staunch advocate for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, respect for the human rights of vulnerable populations. MEXFAM - Fundación Mexicana para la Planeación Familiar

We are a civil society organization promoting access to health, education and defence of sexual and reproductive rights, based on an intersectional, human rights, gender and culturally relevant approach. Since 1969 it has been a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). MEXFAM provides the population with informative content, educational and medical services, based on evidence generated through the implementation of applied and participatory research, with a methodology of comprehensive sexuality education and community health. MEXFAM carries out public policy advocacy actions in favour of justice, defence and promotion of rights. Mission: MEXFAM is a Mexican civil society organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life of the population through the provision of quality sexual and reproductive health services and comprehensive sexuality education with a focus on gender, rights and the construction of citizenship. Vision: MEXFAM works to make Mexico a country that guarantees the free decision of all people about their sexuality, without violence or discrimination.
